Happy Wednesday! I wanted to share some nursing friendly tops that I have found and love. I feel like sometimes when it comes to clothes made for new moms, style is the thing that is thought of last. But I am here to tell you that you don't have to sacrifice style in an effort to be practical, you can have it all girlfriend!!  Below are my 5 favorite nursing friendly tops (and I threw in my favorite nursing bras too) that are super cute and practical.

1. The lilac top I am wearing above is my favorite! I am sure you have seen it before but I finally bit the bullet and purchased one for myself and love it! It would be cute styled with jean shorts when the weather warms up too!

2. I just ordered this top in black. It's the same design as my purple top but will be perfect for warmer weather.

3. This little short sleeve top is simple and perfect to dress up or down.

4. This kimono tie front top is adorable and great for all you working mamas out there! I would wear this with jeans and sandals (or wedges) on the weekend too! Love this floral one too!

5. This comfy tee is on sale right now. I love the ruffle detail and the stripes.

Here are my favorite affordable nursing bras that I swear by!

If you'd like any more suggestions or are in the need of a stylish maternity outfit for a special occasion or just for everyday feel free to email me at christineschumaker16@gmail.com I would love to help!

Happy Monday! I hope you had a wonderful weekend. In case you haven't noticed I am all heart eyes for this spring chartreuse yellow color! It is so fun and not as bright and loud as wearing yellow or lime green. It is popping up everywhere this season (and will be sticking around for next season too!) and I can't get enough! I picked up this short sleeve sweatshirt last week and it is SO comfy and soft! I feel like I will be wearing this a ton this summer on cooler nights and around the house. Graham loved how soft it was too (perfect for cuddling babies in ;)). It is currently on sale and comes in a few other colors. There are a few awesome sales happening today that I wanted to share that are perfect if you're on the hunt for spring/summer clothes and accessories.

Friday 5!

yellow amazon top

outfit: top ($13)  ||  denim  ||  sandals (under $25)  ||  earrings (old), similar, similar  ||  bag  ||  sunnies (old) similar, similar

We did it people, we made it to Friday!! Phew, what a busy and crazy week! I am so looking forward to chilling out this weekend and checking out a new (to us) park, and going to brunch with the fam bam. We are going to try out a new church on Sunday and I'll tell ya what, finding a "good fit" church and a legit hair stylist are the two hardest things to find when you move (after finding good girlfriends that is)! The hard part is that if you don't know anyone in the area you don't have any recommendations so you are just browsing websites and hoping for the best come Sunday. The testing out new hair stylists part is much more sketchy, haha. I have definitely had my fair share of bad haircuts when moving somewhere new. My previous hair stylist gave me a good tip for this time around though. She said if you see a girl who has similar hair to yourself (color, cut, etc) ask her who does her hair. Not only will you be making someone's day by complimenting their hair (who doesn't love a good hair compliment ;)) but you'll hopefully find someone who has worked with hair similar to your own! I am going to test it out and I'll get back to you ;). Ok, enough chatter, here are my Friday 5!

1. This yellow top I posted on Instagram yesterday is only $13! Yep, you read that right. It is perfect to wear to work or to dress up your favorite pair of jeans. It is also nursing friendly for all you mamas out there. If yellow is not your thing, don't you fret because it comes in other colors too!

2. I can't wait to see Amy Schumer's new movie I Feel Pretty!

3. The pilot who safely landed the Southwest Plane whose engine blew up is a former naval pilot and total bad ass! Talk about girl power!! Read about it here

4. 3 Fashion Blogs/Bloggers I've been loving lately:

  1. Glitter & Gingham
  2. The Darling Detail
  3. Lauren Kay Sims

5. Weekend sales:

  • Tory Burch is having a sale through Monday with up to 30% off with promo code SPRING
  • Abercrombie has 40% off all tee's and tops this weekend.
  • Get a $10 gift card when you spend $40 at Target (I can spend $40 at Target in about 3 seconds blindfolded, what can I say, it's a gift ;))
  • Get an extra 30% off sale styles at Madewell with promo code YAY30

Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a fabulous weekend.

My Favorite Amazon Finds Right Now!

florals and gingham

outfit: top (under $18)  ||  denim (BOGO 50% off)  ||  sandals  ||  bag  ||  earrings

Happy Monday! How was your weekend? We had a busy one full of running errands, getting brunch with friends and exploring our new city! I wore this floral gingham top around town on Sunday and it was super comfy and lightweight (perfect for warm weather!). It ties at the back for a cute little added detail and is under $20! I snagged these sandals this weekend while we were running errands and they are super comfy, match everything and under $23. I know I'll be wearing them a ton this spring and summer!

I wanted to share with you some Amazon steals I have scooped up recently that I think you'll love!

Clothes/accessories I am loving:

  • The top above comes in a few other colors and is super affordable!
  • This scalloped top is in my cart right now. It would look so cute with distressed jeans and some gold dainty jewelry.
  • This little floral dress is too cute and perfect for all those spring showers you'll be attending!

Baby products I am loving:

  • These baby beanies are super cute and soft! When I got these in the mail I laughed at how big they were but when you fold them over once they fit a baby perfectly! I like these to protect Graham's head from the sun and to keep him warm (and it doesn't hurt that they're super cute ;)).
  • These water wipes are awesome! They are free of fragrances, parabens, dyes and alcohol and haven't caused any diaper rash.
  • These baby bible books are so cute!

Other products I am loving:

  • Hydraflask water bottles and travel mugs were super popular when I lived in Hawaii and for good reason. They keep your drink hot or cold all day long and don't sweat at all (even when you're sitting on the hot beach all day). I've had my Hydraflask water bottles and coffee travel mugs for about  4 years now and they're still going strong.
  • Jon bought me this external charger for my birthday and it has been my favorite gadget that I've had in a long time! It is a little heavy tbh, but it charges my phone 10x faster than my regular wall charger and it can charge my laptop to 50% and my ipad fully. The battery life lasts FOREVER and will be perfect for traveling!
  • Ok, this probably is going to sound lame to share nightlights haha but hear me out! Jon bought these little LED nightlights after the baby was born so we were not stumbling around in the dark for night feedings. After stubbing my toe in the dark 100 times on the darn bassinet I can not sing their praises anymore haha. They are low dimmed lights (so they won't keep you awake) but admit just enough light to be able to see in the dark, and feed the baby without waking up the whole household up. Even if you don't have a baby I recommend these! They're perfect to put in the bathroom, dark hallways and kitchen.

That is all for today, thanks so much for visiting!

XO,

Christine
